A happy discovery happened to me the other night in the Oltr’arno neighborhood of Florence. I happened across a presentation vernissage of the new creative project, Casa Abitata Laborotorio on Via dell’Arddiglione, 11r in Florence. It isn’t a street I have ever ventured down, in fact you probably would not go there intentionally except to find this multi-functional lab just between Piazza del Carmine and Santo Spirito.
The nucleus group consists of: Andrea Del Sere, graphic design; Marco Del Sere, public relations; Fulvia Carmagnini Sylist, press contact; and Rita Pedullà, artist. Andrea is always up to something creative. A few years back, he was part of an artisan gallery in Florence where my jewelry was sold. Now with Casa Abitata, the lab offers a flexible structure for creative professionals: communication services, events, graphic image projection, art, design, home accessories, and jewelry.
The Natale in Nero, Black Christmas, Noel Noir temporary shop/lab will run until the end of the year, daily from 4-7:30pm. Here are some images from the opening night including artwork, unique pieces, limited series, and creative Florentines. For more information, see their website or FB page.
